Kim Paez has made Southwest PGA history as the first woman to win the Section Championship back in September of 2023.

Since then, she has qualified for the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and earned a sponsor’s exemption into the 2024 Ford Championship at Seville Golf and Country Club.

“Playing in the KPMG and the Ford feel like my ways of saying ‘thank you’ to the PGA and its members," Kim said. "Becoming a PGA Member was the best decision I ever made, and it is an honor to be an example of what opportunities are out there. I am proud to be that example.”
